Micro Control Systems provides support for its products in several ways. First and foremost is through product education. In order to help users better understand how our products work and how to get the most from them, a variety of User Manuals have been created. Also, Application Notes are available which cover specific technical issues. Both of these may be downloaded from our Literature page.

Hardware Troubleshooting

To further assist individuals in troubleshooting, the MCS-8 and Magnum Micro Controller Systems Simplified Description and Troubleshooting Training Manual was created. Through the use of simplified flow charts, this manual will take you step by step through the process of pinpointing the source of most hardware related problems specific to MCS-8 and Magnum based systems and how to correct them. Training Classes

Throughout the year Micro Control Systems holds regular in-house training classes that are designed to help the student become more proficient in the installation and use of our products. These classes are generally three to five days in length and involve a mixture of classroom and field training.

In the classroom students receive in-depth training on our product line and the algorithms and software on which our micro controllers are based. Hands-on training is emphasized as students design configurators to tailor the function of our micro controllers to specific applications. Students also receive hands-on training to better equip them to diagnose and repair hardware issues that may arise in the field.

Field training generally involves a visit to a local jobsite where MCS products are being used to control an HVAC/R system.
